Fluid extract of Passion flower (Passiflora)
Therapeutic actions: The extract is made from a plant called Passiflora incarnat�. The components slow the conduction of neural impulses in the spinal cord and cerebrum. Lowers the excitability of CNS and exert sedative effect. The preparation elevates mood in depressive states, anxiety and psychological tension, manifests a light sedative effect without any symptoms of difficult awakening. Possesses anti-seizure action.
Indications: The syrup is indicated in treatment of patients with neurastenic and depressive disorders, stress, feeling of anxiety, irritation, sleep disorders, in climacteric and post-climacteric period. The preparation is also effective in treatment of vegetative CNS illnesses, as well as in treatment of post-infective astenia.
Contraindications and cautions: The syrup should not be used if you have ever experienced hypersensitivity to any of its components. Alora should be used with caution in:
- Severe statical gastro-intestinal illnesses
During treatment with Alora patients should avid driving or operating machinery.

If used in together with preparation that oppress CNS function like:
They exponentiate the sedative effect of the preparation.
Should not be used together with disulfiram.
Alcohol should be avoided during treatment with Alora.
